Do You Know?

Post com objetivo duplo.  Treinar seu inglês e conhecer algumas curiosidades sobre a Ferrari.

* The blue 599 GTB Fiorano that is part of the Panamericana 20,000 is serial number 146728.

* Ferrari didn't acknowledge Piero Lardi as his natural son until 1979 - 34 years after he was born.

* Jim Glickenhaus' Ferrari P 4/5 - an Enzo-based, Ferrari-approved one-off super car - has an "E button" - an ignition kill switch - one of several features the Enzo does not come equipped with. The P 4/5 also comes with worldwide satellite navigation.

* Every set of Enzo keys is encoded; every owner receives an electronic code card which matches said keys. This card containing the electronic code enables the owner to have duplicate keys made or for "emergency starting".

* Of all the 348 variations made (including the GTC), only 496 were made in RHD configuration for the UK market.

* Of the 950 250 GTE 2+2s made, 47 were made RHD for the UK market.

* The UK launch price for the 500 Superfast - of which they made 36 - in 1964 was 10,932 pounds.


* The celebrity-owned black Enzos are as follows: S/N 134282, Pharrell Williams; S/N 132051, J. Kay (Jamiroquai); and S/N 133021, Willi Weber.

* Eric Clapton's Enzo is S/N 130916.

* It is believed that the first F355 Spider in the US was 100986, a metallic black with a tan leather interior.

* Seven 250 GTOs - roughly one fifth of the total production - were sold through Luigi Chinetti.

* Though some are still unconfirmed, there are over 440 Enzo serial numbers.
